Pep Guardiola’s Team Dominace

Manchester City have become the first men’s team to win the domestic treble in England, winning the Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup all in 2018-19.

No doubt the FA Cup final game vs Watford was conveniently easier for City than the tough League run Jurgen Klopp’s men gave them and the EFL Cup final against Chelsea which was won on penalties.

A Raheem Sterling hattrick and goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus annihilated a Watford side that had a remarkable comeback against Wolves. 7

The 2018/2019 season has been one of the most intense in English football history. One point separating the first and second in the Premier League.
The League cup was won by penalties.
A Wolves side beat Manchester United, a side that had eliminated Arsenal and Chelsea on their way to the Quarter final only to be dumped out by a comeback by a spirited Watford side in the Semi finals.

2018/19 season will be remembered as Manchester City’s season of local dominance.

City won the PL by 98 points, just 2 short of their 100 point tally last year.

It made them the only 3rd team to win the PL in back to back seasons.
They beat Watford 6-0 in the FA Cup final ,beat Chelsea on penalties in the league cup.

The statistics speak for themselves.
City ended the season with 3 players scoring 20+ goals in all competitions (Aguero, Sterling and Jesus)
